Haas Food Starch 250g / 8.82oz

For baking: in order to improve the quality of cakes, omelettes, omelets, pies, sponge cakes and doughs made with baking powder, 1/4 – 1/2 of the amount of flour specified in the recipe can be replaced with Haas Natural Edible Starch. The starch must always be thoroughly mixed with the flour and sifted through.
For cooking (making soups and vegetables): mix Haas Natural Edible Starch with a little cold liquid (water, soup) to a milky consistency and add it to the hot food while constantly stirring, then boil it once.
Important: Soups and sauces thickened with Haas Natural Edible Starch should not be cooked for a long time, otherwise the effectiveness of the starch will be reduced.
